No Snow....but All is Right with the World.

I've been back east for just over 3 days now...it's not like last Christmas: there's nary a snowflake to be found, but I finished what little shopping I was to be doing in a few hours this afternoon, picked up Natasha and we had the World's Finest Chicken Wings at Duff's
and I just tucked her into bed...so in my world, at least for now, all is well. The homestead is still very much a construction zone of drywall and 2 by 8's, but there's a Christmas Tree...tomorrow we'll decorate it...maybe I'll finally get around to hauling my ass onto the Elliptical Trainer to get into some pre-holiday exercising...not that I've been hitting the Xmas sauce too much...over the 3 days I've had about 7 drinks...positively teetotalling figures compared to my usual holiday consumption. Of course, we haven't hit Duff's yet with the Lads, and what with missing Hockey Day in Canada this year, things are looking mighty dry on my end....

Merry Xhristmas!
