Whooooooooo!

Ok...as an explanation for the incoherent title, let me back up:
Today was a flip-flop from bad to good to...well...
I had the day off for a writer's meeting for OCTV that got postponed, so I was cheesed that I was out a day's work. Then I got a last-minute call from my background agent to do some extra work. So the day wasn't a total loss. I hadn't even eaten lunch yet, so got to save on my home food and even come away with some to take home for tomorrow.
But here's where it gets better: I get a call from Natasha, always great to talk to her, especially when on a boring set, and when I'm done with her my REAL agent calls to say that I've been booked for an actual ACTOR role on The 4400 without even having to audition.
Wow.
After more than 10 years of doing crappy commercial auditions,beating my head against countless walls, coming sooo close sooo many times, I land my first union gig without even trying.
Except I have been trying. Damn hard.
Relocating across the continent in search of a dream that seems like it's finally starting to come true. starting. let's not get ahead of ourselves.OCTV seems like it might have some money for season 2, I'm working on a screenplay which I'm actually excited about,and my personal plans for the summer are looking like they're gonna happen, in a large part due to the calls I got today.
But I can't let up my guard.
Not now.
I have a script to write and stuff to do...but tonight, I can celebrate. A shot of Herradura Anejo, perhaps.
I deserve it.
