Just did my last day on The 4400, their season is over this week, and an interesting aside: the Director, Nick Copus (-shit! In adding this link right now I noticed that he directed the doc about the guy who was trapped under the boulder and cut his own arm off! Damn, I wished I had asked him about that...)...anyway, he's directed several episodes of the show and told me that there's a chance my character could become a recurring one. That'd be sweeeeet.
He was also a really nice guy and we had a conversation about Dr.Who. (He's English. Something about being directed by a Brit that makes you feel totally legit.)
The rest of the cast couldn't have been nicer, as a day player it's not often you get to spend the whole day doing a scene with the series leads.
For some reason the whole day felt kind of bittersweet...I wanted to savour every moment, because as a struggling actor you never know when you're going to get back there again...but now that I'm joining the union at least the opportunity to land more quality gigs like this should present themselves...and I know they will. It's like Don Cherry says about goal-scoring celebrations: be happy, but act like it's no big deal-You've been there before, and you'll be there again.
Exactly.

Sometimes momentum presents itself in tiny increments, but it's still momentum. I hope you can feel it.
